DESCRIPTION
Model Zarathustra represents the evolution of the design approach on the Alpine category. It differs from its predecessors for the lack of leather and the intensive use of highly abrasion resistant fabrics. It has a unique state of the art upper in elasticated knitting.
The outer BOA lacing system allows a precise and quick adjustment without taking the gloves off. The carbon fibre and aluminium lasting board provides stiffness for crampon support and lightweight for more easiness of use. The aluminium layered footbed offer insulation against cold rising from the ground. Zarathustra is also equipped with RECCO rescue system to allow enjoying the climb in safety in case of troubles.
The combined polyurethane and rubber 360° rand protects the boot and the foot against stones and impacts giving strength and durability to the boot.
